1st Place & Big Bass on Grindstone Reservoir 4-26-09
Mike Knight takes 1st Place & Big Bass at the R&R Bass Tournament on Grindstone Reservoir with 3 fish that weighed 13.64Lbs, including the Big Bass of the event that weighed 6.34Lbs. Mike reported catching all his fish on a ½-Ounce Black/Fire E-Factor Lures Pitchin’ Jig in 1-3 feet of water. With the rising water levels he concentrated on fishing the E-Factor Lures jig in the flooded willows pitching as far back into the willows as possible. He used a KVD Perfect Plastic Rodent as his jig trailer and was fishing water from 61-63 degrees throughout the day. Mike only managed 3 fish for the tournament but they were all quality fish.
