Steve,
I thought you needed to know how your
baits are performing. First of all, there is definitely something
special about the spinnerbaits. I threw the double colorado, 3/8
oz, white/chart bait in Iowa for a week. I had a limit the first
day and four the second day on it. I barely missed a check and
that was due to the fact that I lost a four pounder at the boat on
Thursday. Otherwise, your baits would have been responsible for a
check in the Regional Championship. The pressure was terrible, but
I could go around everyone else and catch fish when others
couldn't. As a matter of fact, Curtis Samo and David Junk were
fishing some of the same areas I was, and I smoked both of them on
your blade.
Also, I went to Truman on Friday to
help Matt ( my brother ) practice for his Jr TBF tournament out of
Berry Bend. We had ten keepers and the two biggest came on the 3/4
oz double willow leaf E-Factor. Matt went on to win the tournament
by over a ten pound margin. His boater draw was Denny Brauer, who
usually doesn't make it to the Jr events, but was back in town and
had his grandson fishing. Denny saw the 3/4 oz E-Factor and didn't
want to give it back to Matt, he loved it!!!
Anyways, I thought you needed to
know. I need to put another order in soon, so I'll call you if I
get a spare minute so we can go over what I want. Also, you're
going to get some press in my next journal entry. Thanks for
making a product worth having.
