CENTRAL PRO AM
BEAVER LAKE, ARKANSAS
MARCH 1-2, 2008
Warrensburg MO Skeeter Pro Rich Campbell found Beaver Lake to his liking
in early March. Not only did he claim fourth place prize money of $800, he
also took home $1000 in Skeeter Real Money for being the highest finishing
Skeeter Real Money participant. Skeeter Real Money pays up to $3000 to the
winning registered angler of a Central Pro Am event, or will pay the
highest finishing Skeeter Real Money participant $1000, which is the award
that Campbell won.
Campbell was throwing an E Factor Lures 3/8 shad colored spinner bait with
a single colorado blade.
I did not own a E Factor spinner bait before I traveled to the tournament.
My traveling partner gave me a couple of the shad colored with Colorado
blades to try. He had caught a couple of fish during one of our practice
days on the same bait. I started throwing it in practice and it was
catching fish a lot better than anything else I had tried. The E Factor
spinner bait and a friend was the key to my high finish in this
tournament. I now own my own E Factor Lures, but I can not decide if I am
going to give my friend back his spinner bait or not. Once you get them in
your boat you won’t want to let go of them and you will always have one
tied on.
